So… what is organic?
In everyday terms, organic production means that a product is left as natural as possible without using synthetic chemicals, especially petrochemicals in growing raw materials and producing complex products. Though the term widely used today due to its general appeal and trend, officially organic products are controlled by strict rules to ensure that a set of criteria are met and a high quality level maintained. Only then can it be called certified organic. Generally, organic products are cleaner, more environmentally and health friendly, and contain higher levels of natural nutrients and active ingredients. In contrast, the term natural, also often used, means that the raw materials used in production are of natural origin.
